How to use it

Open Remove background

Go to the Edit section and select Remove background, or navigate directly to gestel.ai/edit/remove-background.

Upload your image

Click the upload area or drag and drop a file. JPEG, PNG, and WebP are supported.

Process

Click Remove background. The tool costs 2 credits and takes a few seconds to run.

Download the result

Once complete, hover over the result and click the download icon to save the transparent PNG.

What works well

  • Product photos with a single subject
  • Apparel and fashion items
  • Objects against simple or studio backgrounds

Limitations

Results are best when the subject has a clear edge. Very fine details like loose hair or transparent objects may not cut out perfectly.

From the lightbox, you can send the cutout directly to Relight to add new studio lighting, or to Upscale if you need a higher-resolution asset.
