Credits are the currency you use to run generations and edit tools on GESTEL. Every action that uses AI processing costs credits.

How credits are allocated

When your billing date rolls around, your plan’s monthly credit grant is added to your account. Your credit balance is visible in the account menu at any time.
Buy pay-as-you-go credits if you need extra beyond your plan — they stack on top of monthly credits and don’t expire.

Credit types

GESTEL has two types of credits that behave differently:
TypeSourceExpiration
Monthly creditsIncluded with your subscription planRoll over for 1 billing period, then expire
Pay-as-you-go creditsPurchased separately at $2/100 creditsNever expire
Monthly credits are used first. Pay-as-you-go credits are only drawn from after your monthly credits run out.

Rollover policy

Unused monthly credits roll over for one billing period. If you don’t use them within that period, they expire. For example: if your billing date is the 1st and you have 200 unused credits on February 1st, those credits will roll into March. If you still haven’t used them by April 1st, they expire. Pay-as-you-go credits are permanent and never roll over or expire.

When credits are deducted

Credits are deducted when a generation starts, not when it finishes. This reserves capacity on the server for your job. If a generation fails, credits are automatically refunded to your account. You don’t need to contact support — the refund happens immediately.

Checking your balance

Your current credit balance is shown in the account menu in the top navigation. It updates in real time as you use credits.
